NYYC fell down behind Denmark and had to tack away, but crossed all boats to the right.
Denmark finally tacked out, but looks top three.
Canada and RNZYS still headed in toward Jamestown and could be 1-2...definitely ahead of all boats to the left by a lot.
Looks like Canada will have a comfortable lead, then NZ, Denmark and NYYC at this point. Still a ways, and lots of shifts, to go.

Everyone is out on the race course north of the Bridge. RC flew an 'AP' postponement flag at 1100, but are working to set up the course. Wind is northwest, probably 20 knots. Pretty choppy. Current is in full ebb (coming from about 45 degrees to the right of the wind). Not a cloud in the sky, but still a bit chilly. Beautiful fall New England day. Expecting the breeze to lighten throughout the day.

Good morning! Final day of the NYYC Invitational Cup. It's a cool and breezy fall day in Newport. Winds are currently 20+ knots up the Bay.

"AP" flag is flying.

RC has just announced that all crews should head out to their boats, stay on their mooring and then proceed to the harbor parade at 1000, then head up to the race course area north of the Bridge. The start will obviously be delayed, but the RC has not yet announced an intended start time.

The forecast is for the northerly breeze to lighten throughout the day. The final two races are scheduled today.

Racing will be at rendezvous area "R" which is north of the bridge.
Forecast is showing 12-18 up the Bay and up to 25 with big waves outside.
Lots of action in the jury room last night and they didn't finish up until after 11 PM. There were also several 1-point penalties assessed by the umpires for breaches of the Class Rules pertaining to the extension of the sprit pole. The penalty against Canada is under review.
